2011 - The Year In Motion

2011 - The Year In Motion

_____________________________________

The year is moving quickly. Home & Land values are constantly changing. A Realtor can help. Deals can be found, but be cautious. If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is.

Here's an example of one issue that can cause you a problem in the future:

Land locked - no legal access to the property. When buying any property, make sure you have legal access to that property. Some properties are surrounded by BLM, Gov't and/or Reservation Lands. Legal access to the property across these lands may be a problem.

**********************************

As always, the Tri-States areas have events and activities throughout the year. Check your local newspapers for dates & locations.

The radio stations and their web sites also list the various activities for the different areas.

Reminder!  Again, It doesn't matter what time of year it is in the desert.

Be cautious while enjoying the desert areas.  Take water and something warm to wear. The desert can get chilly / cold at night. It's a good idea to carry a blanket & flashlight in your vehicle. During the day, an umbrella can be an asset as well.

Remember, there are lots of critters out there. Watch where you step, look before you pick up something, & shack out your shoes before you stick your foot into them.

If it doesn't stick you, it may bite or sting. Be safe!

Hope your 2011 year will be prosperious & continues to be kind to you !

Do you like to fish?

Do you like to camp?

Fishing is always fun on the Colorado River areas. In Lake Mead, South Cove is a good place to start. If windy, be careful. The waves can get quit high in the area.

If you prefer Lake Mohave, you just have to move around. There are several areas you can launch a boat. Call game & fish for a map of any of the lakes. BLM (Bureau of Land Management) also has great maps of the different areas for stream & lake fishing. Lots of camping areas as well. The Hualapai's, Williams & Flagstaff have numerous camping areas that should satisfy your every needs.

Captain Doyle has some great articles to help you find what you are looking for .. Catfish, Strippers, Big Mouth, Trout, & Blue Gill. He even has fishing charters if you need some help. I've fished with Captain Doyle, and what a delight. Did I catch anything? You bet I did.
